The stock fan curve has a lot of fan rpm changes in that temperature range of 40-60 Celsius and with the tower sitting on my desk next to me, the speed changes are very noticable. Yeah, I have Gigabyteâs TRX40 Designare and the default fan curves are similarly annoying and not well tuned for Ryzen. Configurations under test: The budget build: We used the supplied Wraith Stealth CPU cooler with standard pre-applied cooling paste and only the supplied 120mm Case Fan. Yes might be a bit more expensive but should give the best result. You cool it down. Also thinking about undervolting to lower temps. Hi all, Recently built a pc. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition CPU Air Coolor, Silencio FP120 Fan, 4 CDC 2.0 Heatpipes, Anodized Gun-Metal Black, Brushed Nickel Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151 4.7 out of 5 stars 21,096 $37.99 $ 37 . To sum things up, this cooler is much better than the stock cooler provided with the Ryzen 5 3600, and despite its smaller size and price, it will give you the opportunity to overclock your CPU when you need to, and keep temperatures low on a regular basis. I use msi b450m mortar mother board, my power plan is Amd Ryzen Balanced . The 3600 had massive issues with Temp â like those temps you showed â over 90 on benchmark, cinebench, gaming etc. If you play around with the fan curve you can make some improvements but it's still loud compared to other options.
